This week seemed to test the College’s softball team more than any other week so far this season. Going into the games this week, the team knew it was going to take their best effort to beat their opponents, and they were ready for the challenge. Especially ready was freshman pitcher Ashtin Helmer, who notched her second no-hitter of the season.

Track beats the heat, obtains qualifiers

This past week showcased some of the best performances from the College’s track and field team that we have seen all year. At the Sam Howell Invitational held at Princeton University on Saturday, April 6, the College’s female athletes performed well and continue to look stronger each time they take to the track.

Lions battle their best, pick up victories

It seems as though the weather gets a little hotter day by day, and so does the softball team. Their last loss came on Saturday, March 23 against Haverford College, but this team has been on fire ever since then, winning four straight. The Lions have torn down their opponents with their superb pitching and offense and have proven to be one of the best all-around teams.
