It’s no secret that most Christmas movies aren’t known for diverse and complex plots. With the release of “Happiest Season” on Hulu, this genre added some much needed LGBTQ+ content to its portfolio. “Happiest Season” is a brand-new film that, for the first time, features a lesbian couple.

Senior fine arts majors present in-person show

“We have put our hearts into our work and putting these shows together,” Gilston said. “What I love about the community of artists I’ve found at TCNJ is that we honor our differences, and we’re able to come together to collaborate on our work. We’re like a family.”

CUB hosts star-studded virtual tour

Last Wednesday, the College’s Union Board (CUB) finished out the “On Your Campus Virtual Tour,” a five-night series of online events headlined by popular artists and comedians. The celebrity headliners included Cheat Codes, an EDM trio; rapper Rico Nasty; alternative pop band The Aces; TV personality Jonathan Van Ness; and SNL star Chloe Fineman. 

Students help fight hunger as Food Recovery Network chapter continues to grow

With food insecurity on the rise due to economic effects from Covid-19, soup kitchens in Trenton are in need of food now more than ever. The College’s newly recognized club, the Food Recovery Network (FRN), looks to give back to the community by collecting food from local stores and donating it to the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK).

Netflix’s ‘The Social Dilemma’ reveals society’s hidden Frankenstein

“The Social Dilemma” is a brand new Netflix documentary that can perhaps only be described as terrifying. Discussing the man-made monster that is social media, this Netflix original film is seemingly designed to make its audience uncomfortable. The documentary is an interesting mix of narrative, interviews and real-world news clips, creating an immersive and gripping experience. Overall, it’s a call to action for social media developers to make the internet more humane.

Welcome Week for Class of 2024 goes virtual

Much like the switch to fully remote learning, the College’s annual Welcome Week for the incoming Class of 2024 and transfer students took the annual tradition online.
