The field hockey team hosted Franklin and Marshall University on Saturday, Nov. 16, for the first round of the NCAA Tournament, ending in an unfortunate 4-3 loss for the Lions. The team’s season came to a close after its 18-game winning streak was snapped.
The leaves may have changed, but the Lions’ dominance never let up during their strong fall break, as they’ve limited their last three opponents to just one goal combined.
The women’s field hockey team traveled to Central Valley, Pennsylvania, on Sept. 10 to face off against DeSales University, and managed to produce its third consecutive victory.
The College traveled to Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, to take on Juniata College on Saturday, Sept. 7, in what became a 4-0 shutout in favor of the Lions. With
Ranked seventh by the NCAA, the Lions competed for the championship title in the NCAA Championship tournament, but could not make it past the quarterfinals.
