The College’s Schools of Science, Business and Nursing, Health, and Exercise Science teamed up with global health care company Novo Nordisk to present the third seminar, “The Biology of Obesity and its Management,” of the four-part lecture series “Understanding Obesity: A Multidisciplinary Challenge” in the Education Building on March 20.
“Bridging the Gap Between Public Health and Obesity Care,” the second seminar of the four part series “Understanding Obesity: A Multidisciplinary Challenge,” featured Tracy Zvenyach, Novo Nordisk’s obesity public policy maker, and Susan Harris, the company’s obesity management specialist, in the Brower Student Center on Tuesday, Nov. 7.
Todd Hobbs, vice president and chief medical officer for Novo Nordisk in North America, came to the College to give a lecture about the American obesity epidemic on Thursday, Sept. 21, in Mayo Concert Hall.
