Honoring 50 years of The College’s School of Nursing, Health and Exercise Science, a virtual gala was held on Friday, Nov. 13 to celebrate the institution’s half-century-long tradition of “educating capable and impactful healthcare leaders of tomorrow,” as noted in the program’s description.
Amidst global warming and climate change, the earth is losing many animal and plant species, with the United Nations reporting that more species are facing extinction today than ever before. Protecting these extinct species often comes in the form of protecting their environments and natural habitats, but scientists stumbled upon another way to revive extinct plant species — growing trees from seeds that are 2000 years old.
Featuring an inspiring and experience-emphasized discussion panel, the College’s Citizen/Art Exhibition allowed artists to showcase their creations and careers to students and members of the Ewing community in the Art and Interactive Multimedia Building’s art gallery on Sept. 11.
