Women’s tennis wins 37th NJAC title

The weekend of Saturday, Sept. 14 and Sunday, Sept. 15 was a busy one for both the men’s and women’s tennis teams.

Although she’s not always polished, she is always herself, and the drama that surrounds her is minimal, focusing on her relationship status or what she wore to an award show. Returning to the music scene on Thursday, Sept. 5 with her first solo hits since 2018, Cabello simultaneously released two singles, “Liar” and “Shameless.”

Maintaining national ranking just doesn’t seem to be enough for the men’s and women’s tennis teams as they go into the season with high hopes for the future.

Tennis finishes season with shutout victories

To end their season, both the men’s and women’s tennis teams were able to take down their final opponents and gain a playoff spot. On Wednesday, April 24 the men’s team took on Stevens Institute of Technology followed by a weekend match on Saturday, April 27 as they went up against SUNY Oneonta at home.

Men win NJAC, Gavornik hits 100

It was a busy week for the Lions as the men took on both Rutgers University-Newark and Camden in a doubleheader on April 10, the University of Rochester on Saturday, April 13 and Goucher College on Sunday, April 14.

Tennis sweeps Ithaca, falls to N.C. Wesleyan

The men’s and women’s tennis teams had a busy weekend, taking on Ithaca College on Saturday, April 6 and North Carolina Wesleyan College on Sunday, April 7.

Tennis holds back Ramapo

On Saturday, March 30, the men’s tennis team traveled to Ramapo College in a conference match. The team came out on top, sweeping the match 9-0 and increasing its record to 9-1 while the women had the week off.

Men’s team continues win streak

On March 16, the men’s and women’s tennis teams both took on New York University during a home match. The men continued their winning streak, while the women fell in their first loss of the season.

Tennis team dominates, remains uncontested

The men’s and women’s tennis teams blazed through their opponents’ plays this past weekend. The men’s team outdueled Salisbury University 5-4 on Saturday, March 9 at the Hopewell Tennis Club in Hopewell, New Jersey. Meanwhile, the women’s team defeated its Salisbury counterpart 7-2.

Tennis shuts out Dickinson at home

On Saturday, March 2, the men’s and women’s tennis teams battled Dickinson College at home and shut out their respective opponents. The next day, the men’s team took on Franklin and Marshall College at home, shutting out its opponent as well.

Tennis opens season strong

On Feb. 16, both the men’s and women’s tennis teams opened their seasons against University of Sciences in Philadelphia and both won by a score of 7-2.
