Wrestling travels to compete in Messiah Open

The College’s wrestling team traveled to Mechanicsburg, Penn., on Sunday, Feb. 9, to compete in the Messiah Open, where several wrestlers succeeded in multiple weight classes. In a tournament setting like this event, team points are earned for placements in the championship bracket and the consolation rounds.

Wrestling dominates Lycoming in front of alumni

The men’s wrestling team delivered a dominant performance on Saturday, Feb. 1, defeating Lycoming College 35-4 on Alumni Day. The win marked the 13th win in a row and 14th on the season for the Lions.

Women’s track and field defeats Stockton

The women’s track and field team defeated Stockton University in a dual meet by the final score of 93-72 on Friday, Jan. 31.

The College’s track and field team competed in the Diplomat Open on Saturday, January 25. They were one of 22 colleges to attend the event located at Schnader Field House at Franklin and Marshall University.

Men’s basketball moves to 2-1

The men’s basketball team won its season opener by a score of 93-51 against Misericordia University in Dallas, Penn., on Nov. 12.

Women win opener

The College’s women’s basketball team defeated Ithaca College 75-61 in its home opener on Friday, Nov. 15, earning its second consecutive victory by 14 points or more and improving its overall record to 2-1 on the season.

Football ends season, blows 17-point lead

The College’s football team lost a nail-biter to Rowan, 24-20, giving up a touchdown in the final minute of the fourth quarter.

Football falls to nationally ranked team

The Lions faced a tough defeat by Salisbury University on Saturday, Nov. 9, as they fell by a score of 62-20.

The football team secured a big homecoming win on Saturday, Oct. 19, as it defeated Kean University by a score of 7-3.

Football falls to 1-1 in NJAC

The College’s football team earned its first victory of the season on Oct. 5, when it traveled to Wayne, New Jersey, and defeated William Paterson University by a score of 17-14. With the win, the team improved to 1-3 on the year and 1-0 in the conference.

Football falls in fourth quarter upset

The College’s football team fell to St. John Fisher College on Saturday, Sept. 21 by a final score of 40-16.
