The College’s wrestling team traveled to Mechanicsburg, Penn., on Sunday, Feb. 9, to compete in the Messiah Open, where several wrestlers succeeded in multiple weight classes. In a tournament setting like this event, team points are earned for placements in the championship bracket and the consolation rounds.
The men’s wrestling team delivered a dominant performance on Saturday, Feb. 1, defeating Lycoming College 35-4 on Alumni Day. The win marked the 13th win in a row and 14th on the season for the Lions.
The College’s track and field team competed in the Diplomat Open on Saturday, January 25. They were one of 22 colleges to attend the event located at Schnader Field House at Franklin and Marshall University.
The College’s women’s basketball team defeated Ithaca College 75-61 in its home opener on Friday, Nov. 15, earning its second consecutive victory by 14 points or more and improving its overall record to 2-1 on the season.
The College’s football team earned its first victory of the season on Oct. 5, when it traveled to Wayne, New Jersey, and defeated William Paterson University by a score of 17-14. With the win, the team improved to 1-3 on the year and 1-0 in the conference.
