Playing at home on Sept. 26, the women’s soccer team beat out Rutgers University-Camden in a high intensity game with a score of 2-0. On Saturday, Sept. 29, the College dominated William Paterson University 4-1.
The men’s soccer team challenged Rutgers University-Camden on Wednesday, Sept. 26 and William Paterson University on Saturday, Sept. 29. The game against Rutgers-Camden came to a halt due to lightning in the 48th minute, and was not recorded as a contest.
The women’s soccer team faced two opponents last week: Johns Hopkins University and Rutgers University-Newark. The Lions fell to Johns Hopkins 1-0, but prevailed against Rutgers-Newark, 4-2. Their undefeated record has been changed and they now hold a record of 3-1.
While most students were enjoying their last moments of summer before classes start at the College, the women’s soccer team has been preparing for its upcoming season.
