The women’s swim team has seen their season change in a plethora of ways due to Covid-19. Nevertheless, they dove into the uncharted waters brought on by the pandemic.
After a dominating regular season highlighted by top-tiered performances and a number of individual accolades, the women’s cross country season met its end at the NCAA Division III Championships in Oskosh, Wisconsin on Nov. 17.
The women’s rugby team may be a lesser known club sports organization on campus, but, through the success of an undefeated official season this fall, the 27 tough-as-nails women of the College’s rugby team are beginning to make waves in the collegiate club rugby community.
Ranked seventh by the NCAA, the Lions competed for the championship title in the NCAA Championship tournament, but could not make it past the quarterfinals.
The women’s soccer team continued its winning-streak against Stockton University and tied against Montclair State University. The team now improves to 10-1-1.
Playing at home on Sept. 26, the women’s soccer team beat out Rutgers University-Camden in a high intensity game with a score of 2-0. On Saturday, Sept. 29, the College dominated William Paterson University 4-1.
Although senior runner Natalie Cooper was competing against 363 other females at the Paul Short Invitational, she was only interested in the top-three.
The Lions traveled to Salisbury, Maryland on Saturday, Sept. 22 to face Salisbury University, ranked No. 6 in the Division III field hockey group by the NCAA, and left with an astonishing victory.
The field hockey team remains undefeated, as they ended this weekend with back-to-back wins against Juniata College and Albright University at Lions Stadium.
