I must confess I am obsessed with music. The earliest memories that I have are connected to dancing with my mom to any and every genre imaginable. It did not matter what kind of music it was, as long as I could dance to it. Sometimes I could even convince my Mom to take out her old flute and play the songs she had memorized from her marching band days.
“Hubie Halloween” is more of a comedy than a horror movie. However, the main character does get scared a lot. This movie is great to watch to give a little humor to a long day. It was released this Oct. 7 and can be found on Netflix.
As the result of an online semester, Mental Health Services (MHS) at the College has adapted to supporting students remotely. The College reiterates their commitment to protecting the health and safety of its students, including their mental health. New programs are being offered to students, including racial trauma and coping with Covid-19 support groups, despite the services continuing to remain fully remote.

Despite the challenges of online learning this semester, the College’s music department is welcoming four new music professors: professor of music theory Dr. José Beviá, voice professor Steven Eddy, voice professor Mark Moliterno and assistant director of bands Adam Warshafsky. The Department of Justice is looking for data from four states regarding policies pertaining to Nursing homes taking coronavirus patients, alleging that the policies may have been responsible for massive outbreaks.
The College will begin offering a new interdisciplinary Broadcast and Multimedia Journalism minor for the fall semester. The new minor is designed to give students knowledge and experience in the vast broadcast journalism industry.
The College announced on May 4 that a new theatre minor is available once again to interested students, returning to the College after its original introduction in the early 2000s.
