The Student Finance Board met on March 4 at 12:30 p.m.in room 104 of the Brower Student Center to discuss special appropriation requests from the Trentones, the Black Student Union, TCNJ Treblemakers and the Alpha Chi Rho fraternity.
The Student Finance Board (SFB) funded six organizations for a total of $102,730.63 at its last meeting of the fall semester, which took place on Dec. 4 in the Brower Student Center Room 104.
Delta Sigma Theta was funded $3,950 for a speaker for its event titled, “I Never Thought About it Like That.” The speaker, Rasheed Ali Cromwell, is an attorney and Greek life expert. The event will be held on March 27 in the Decker Social Space from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
The Student Finance Board fully funded four events, partially funded two more and withheld funding for another at its meeting on Feb. 13. The TCNJ Italian Club and the French Club proposed funds for their respective field trips. The Italian Club is planning to visit Eataly, an Italian marketplace, in New York City and the French Club hopes to make a trip to the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
