Peace Corps regional recruiter Sarah Price was joined by President Kathryn Foster, professor Donald Hirsch of the chemistry department and College alumna Jasmine Miller in a panel event on Wednesday, March 3 to celebrate 60 years of service with the Peace Corps.
With 1139 students residing on campus, the College has seen 150 Covid-19 cases among students since the beginning of the semester. A Feb. 28 email from President Foster addressed the recent spike and warned that a shelter-in-place would be implemented if cases do not decrease in the upcoming weeks.
Johnson & Johnson received approval from the FDA on Saturday, Feb. 27 to begin offering their single-dose vaccine. The New Brunswick-based company made the announcement on their website, promising to deliver 20 million doses to U.S. citizens in March.
