Maintaining national ranking just doesn’t seem to be enough for the men’s and women’s tennis teams as they go into the season with high hopes for the future.
The lacrosse team capped off the regular season with two impressive conference wins. On Tuesday, April 23 the College steamrolled past Stockton University buy a final score of 18-4. On Saturday, April 27, the team went up Kean University and won 14-5.
The Lions faced a trio of opponents this past week, starting with Rowan University on the road on April 16. The lacrosse team then played two home games against Colorado College on Thursday, April 18 and Ramapo College on Saturday, April 20.
Taking to the road this past week, the College’s lacrosse team was successful against both Rutgers University-Camden on Tuesday, April 9 and Salisbury University on Saturday, April 13.
It was a busy week for the Lions as the men took on both Rutgers University-Newark and Camden in a doubleheader on April 10, the University of Rochester on Saturday, April 13 and Goucher College on Sunday, April 14.
On Saturday, April 6 the lacrosse team managed to snap its three-game losing streak with a New Jersey Athletic Conference win against Montclair State University.
The men’s and women’s tennis teams had a busy weekend, taking on Ithaca College on Saturday, April 6 and North Carolina Wesleyan College on Sunday, April 7.
On Saturday, March 30, the men’s tennis team traveled to Ramapo College in a conference match. The team came out on top, sweeping the match 9-0 and increasing its record to 9-1 while the women had the week off.
The women’s lacrosse team came up short during spring break, and fell to both of its opponents. Traveling to Amherst, Massachusetts for the first matchup on March 16, the team battled Amherst College
On March 16, the men’s and women’s tennis teams both took on New York University during a home match. The men continued their winning streak, while the women fell in their first loss of the season.
The Lions traveled to Roanoke, Virginia on Friday, March 8 to compete in the NCAA Championships. The team took eighth place overall. Senior Ryan Budzek, junior Dan Kilroy and sophomore Jake Giordano took the competition by storm.
