Lions cannot catch Salisbury Seagulls

With two losses against nationally-ranked teams this season, Lions field hockey knew that the No. 5-ranked Salisbury University Seagulls would be a trying foe when they faced them on Saturday, Sept. 24.

IMM mini courses offer new passions

IMM mini courses are an invention of John Kuiphoff’s, chair of the Interactive Multimedia (IMM) department, that are going on their third semester. The courses cover specialized topics barely sufficient in content for a semester-long course, but still difficult to learn on one’s own. Each course meets only four times each semester, counts for .25 units and are pass/fail. Any student enrolled at the College can take a mini course.

Field hockey falls while Falcons fly

The players on the College’s field hockey team aren’t strangers to the Messiah College Falcons. The Lions edged Messiah, 1-0, in an overtime game held mid-September last year.

Field hockey suffers first loss of year

The field hockey team experienced mixed emotions last week. After a close 4-3 defeat to the Cabrini College Cavaliers on Wednesday, Sept. 8, the Lions went on to trounce the Juniata College Eagles on Saturday, Sept. 10, which brought their record to 2-1.
