In their general body meeting on Oct. 21, Student Government (SG) recognized two new student organizations, incorporated a greater faculty presence in the governing body and highlighted various reopening strategies for the spring semester.
Students attended the Student Involvement Fair on Feb. 4 in the Brower Student Center from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. to check out the different clubs and student organizations available on campus.
Moving away from home and beginning a new life at the College can seem like one of the loneliest and most uncomfortable times in a person’s life. For most, the transition into college life is an exhilarating step into adulthood, but many new students still experience feelings of confusion and distress that can sometimes be overwhelming.
Student Government voted to officially recognize two student organizations, the Music Students Association and the Actuarial Sciences Club, and welcomed new senators during its meeting on Feb. 21.
