Music burst through the air during the Jazz Ensemble’s performance on Saturday, April 13 at 8 p.m. in Kendall Hall. The ensemble, directed by Assistant Director of Music Gary Feinberg, opened with “Strike up the Band”
Kendall Hall Room 133, once an overcrowded classroom in desperate need of renovation, is now equipped with brand new Apple desktop computers, audio mixers and 60-inch monitors on each wall that can display images from any of the computers in the room.
Six events were funded at this week’s Student Finance Board Meeting on Feb. 28. Additionally, Lauren Bsales, the current administrative director of SFB and a junior deaf education and iSTEM double major, was elected as next year’s executive director of SFB.
The College’s Kendall Main Stage Theater was nominated on Jan. 8 for JerseyArts.com’s 2018 People’s Choice Award in the “Small Performing Arts Center” category, according to the College’s School of Arts and Communications newsletter.
Although students came to the College Union Board’s Fall Comedy Show to hear comedian and talk-show host Chris Hardwick perform stand-up, it was Hardwick’s musical finale that really won over the Kendall Hall crowd.
After months of work and preparation, the College’s Orchestra and Lyric Theatre debuted the musical “Sunday in the Park with George” on Thursday, Nov. 2, on the Kendall Hall Main Stage.
