The football team lost to Rowan University in a heartbreaker 17-14 on Oct. 13, dropping its record to 0-5. This past weekend, however, the Lions pulled together a win against Kean University, 13-8, earning their first win of the year.
The men’s soccer team challenged Rutgers University-Camden on Wednesday, Sept. 26 and William Paterson University on Saturday, Sept. 29. The game against Rutgers-Camden came to a halt due to lightning in the 48th minute, and was not recorded as a contest.
The Lions traveled to Salisbury, Maryland on Saturday, Sept. 22 to face Salisbury University, ranked No. 6 in the Division III field hockey group by the NCAA, and left with an astonishing victory.
The football team traveled to Salisbury, Maryland this week, where they played Salisbury University in a lopsided game. Salisbury won 38-7, as the Lions dropped to 0-4 on the season.
Playing at home on Wednesday, Sept. 19, the Lions edged past Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham Park to pull off a 1-0 victory, handing the now 6-1-1 team its first loss of the season.
