I am running out of my dorm to make it to my 8 a.m. class. I am running on three hours of sleep because I had work the night before. I am running, and the camera pans out and I ask myself why I’m so overwhelmed, because I did everything right.

I’m never one to judge someone else’s health decisions, considering most of my favorite activities involve eating junk food and sitting on the couch.

A new semester springs new opportunities to seize and desires to fulfil — a checklist full of ambitions like establishing a new club on campus, acing courses, losing weight, landing a competitive job or internship, asking someone on a date or simply maintaining your well-being.

Students should appreciate holiday season

As life goes on, it gets harder and harder to find excuses to relax and unwind. So whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza or something else entirely, take the time to appreciate the festivities, as well as the people around you that make it festive to begin with.

Students should not be afraid to make a change

Everyone has a defining moment in life. A moment when you sit back and take account of everything that has happened, and figure out where to go moving forward. Sometimes one can feel overwhelmed by this moment of uncertainty in their lives. It is disorientating to say the least.

Students should not let stress become overwhelming

Everyone is always under stress. Stress is a part of growing up and being an adult. I’ve been in denial about graduating in December, but this period of feeling “sorry” for myself truly opened up my eyes to what’s really important in life.

Sometimes missing out leads to better opportunities

While it’s important to set goals for ourselves and plan ahead of time, the best memories we make in life are simply unplanned.

Students should take advantage of campus study spots

Whether you like studying inside or out, in a quiet space or loud, the College has a lot of nooks and crannies tucked away on campus that have already become, or are waiting to be, turned into great study spots.

Students should look forward to the coming semester

When the going gets tough at the College, it's difficult to be thankful for any of the stress and aggravation you may be going through. But keep in mind that being a part of this campus community is such a blessing that will truly shape who you are.
